  • I have stuff in the room but the decorating hasn't begun yet.  All we have set up is the crib so far... I can't wait until the showers are over so I can go nuts!

  • I don't even have a nursery. We just bought a 2 bedroom house and after the baby is 5-6 months old, all 3 boys will share a bedroom. Two older boys have bunk beds and the crib will fit on the other side of the little room. Nurseries are not a prerequisite of having a baby :)

Even before DS #1 was born, are nursery wasn't ready and we all survived.

  • we bought stuff to paint the room, but after finally getting one wall done we decided we didn't want to continue with the whole room. So we're just going to have one colored accent wall, that I'm stenciling, and going to add other decorations too. The rest of the walls I'll just hang pictures or shelves for decor. Plus, we live in an apt so every wall we paint we have to paint back or pay per wall to have it painted back.

  • I'm right behind you and we also haven't started. Our crib should be shipped to the store sometime this week so we can pick it up - but as of right now, the baby room is still my office!
  • I haven't, and it's killing me.  DH is finishing the basement so we can move the playroom down there & turn the playroom into baby's room.  Hopefully it will be done by the weekend!

  • I'm a little over 31 weeks and while we have the furniture put together, nothing else is done!  I'm getting super anxious about it because it's looking like I'll be induced around 37 weeks and I want to have things done as soon as possible because as time goes by I get larger and exhausted more easily and def. don't want to have to depend on my hubby to do it all on his own!
  • Our nursery is painted....and that's it!! I have been waiting for the husband to carpet the room for over a month now. Supposedly he is going to do that while I am at work on Friday so with any luck I will be able to work on the nursery over my three day weekend.

  • I don't even have a crib yet. The crib I used with DD is really old (I got it from my aunt who bought it when her son was born who is now 16) and is drop side so I can't use that. I actually don't even have a carseat either.

  • DH and I just bought a house and moved this weekend at 35 weeks. We have the furniture in boxes and a paint color selected. This weekend we'll be setting it up, but we'll need a couple of weeks so hoping LO stays put for a while so we can get it as close to done as possible before she arrives, but she'll be in our room for a while at the beginning so I'm not too worried.

  • Don't feel bad. I'm 31 weeks and we have not started our either. We have the paint and the furniture, but nothing has been started. We are in the process of moving SS room and are in the process of painting that room which is taking forever.Hopefully we get him moved down there by next weekend so we can start the bab'y room.

  • I'm 36 weeks, and just started the nursery about a week and a half ago. Everything as in there, but we didn't put it all together til this past weekend. If you don't, no big! the baby will prolly be with you for the first few weeks/months anyways. But i'm betting on the nesting phase to get it done. That's what all my sisters told me. "Don't worry! When you're nesting, you'll have something productive to do!"

  • Me neither.

She'll be rooming in for a while and we need the space.
