Ok.. I'm starting to feel bad here. I'm reading the schedule post and someone actually has flashcards for baby!? I'm curious what "playtime" involves for your LOs.
For us, it's time in the bouncy seat, maybe tummy time. But most of the time DD activity is staring at me or cuddling and on her way to passing out for a catnap.
Re: Playtime
That's pretty much what we do too. Someday she lays on the floor and just watches her brother being crazy, and lately I have been putting her in the wrap so she can see out and I talk to her while cleaning.
btw... I love seeing you posting again Hels!

We don't really do play time. I have to entertain a 2 year old to.
Most of her play time is just watching us be goofy! She gets a lot of special attention too, just not what I would call playtime.
Same here!

Honestly... I can do the "play" thing for about 5 minutes before I'm bored to tears. Then his play time is things like "laundry rides" (carrying him in the basket of laundry), being in the carrier while I putter around the house, going for a walk in the stroller, stuff like that.
I don't really think he's suffering with the lack of flash cards.

I don't use flahcards either. She is getting interested in toys now so she will follow any little toy around. She'll smile at them and hit them. She likes to hold on to her links even though she can't grab them herself. I sing a lot and I read her a lot of books as well. It keeps me from being bored.
I have to ask DH what he does now that I'm back to work.
