I hate to simply discard mine. Its a beautiful white wrought iron crib but now that its not okay to sell or even donate it the only option is to send it to the dump or metal salvage. But its SOOOO pretty and cost quite a bit. I wonder if there are any other creative options people have come up with? I was thinking an antique shop could use it for display, but i'd feel bad if it somehow made its way into someone's home for actual use. Any other ideas?
Re: Creative ideas to upcycle a pretty dropside crib?
You could use the back for a headboard to a new bed.

Or make a bench
Awesome ideas!! If you have a sun room or maby a guest room you can use it in. Put it in the play room for a "stuffed animal" bench..
Awesome idea too! You can rig a bumper up on it like the crib if the spacing is a bit large..
