Upstate NY Babies

Thanks ladies

To those of you who responded and my SYR friends...I just think that I needed to vent. I feel so blessed and am enjoying my little guy, and I know the beginning is tough..but short lived.  I will soon miss those middle of the night snuggles :). Thanks again!

  • Of course! Trust me, Molly is going to be one on Friday and I can't believe that a whole year has flown by so quickly. I really can't imagine our family without her, and those rough first few months were so worth it!

When DS was in the NICU and I was missing DD, and feeling horrible that I was with no one I sent DH a message that I couldn't do this.  He informed me that I had to, and I could.   The first night I slept 2.5 hours, was in a ton of pain, and I told DH that I didn't know how we were going to do it.  However every day has gotten a bit easier.  BUT,  DH is going back to work on Thursday and I'm sure it will get much harder for me for awhile.

Know that I am right there with you!

  • I just got back into town and am catching up, read a little on DH's phone while camping.  I am sorry, it does get better.  I promise, I'm there now.  Seriously though, Ty goes back to school next week.  I drop him off at 11:50, I have two carseats and am half way to your house from his school.  I can pick up E and bring him here to play with Bri for an afternoon ( I have more toys than a toy store).  Then you and A can have a few hour rest, I would need you to pick E up at some point only because I have to get T off the bus around 3 and wont have a spare seat in the car after that.  But it may be nice just to get one infant ready on your own without E, get back into practice.  Bri would love a playmate!

Thanks for the offer.  I actually have a lot of help, so I should not be complaining.  I think that the sleep deprivation was just hitting me really hard this week.  I have been able to squeak in a nap when Evan naps everyday just about and Andrew slept 5 hours straight last night, so hopefully this is a trend (::knocks on wood::).  Thanks again.
