Trying to Get Pregnant

Update on TTC life while enjoying my 2WW

I've been really busy with work for the past week or so and I haven't had the chance to post. (In case you don't recognize me, here's where I was a few weeks ago. My cycles have been very irregular since Jan, Dr dx me with PCOS and I went for CD3 b/w, DH went for a SA so Dr could evaluate the whole picture.)

We had a follow up appointment with our Dr last week and DH's Semen Analysis was good. He has a lightly low count, which we knew already, but Dr says he's has plenty enough sperm to get ANYONE pregnant. So good news there. My b/w came back good. He said my hormone levels are great, I'm just not ovulating regularly (duh). So he thinks it's more of a timing problem that IF.  Plan of attack for the next few months are to use OPK's in hope of catching my surge and try to improve on our timing, stress less and hope for the best. If nothing happens in the next few months then we'll try Clomid.

Bonus of the Year... I've had my first "normal" cycle in 6 months!!! OPK and Temps confirm O on CD 18, which is consistant with where my cycles were pre-January. I'm hoping that this means my annov cycle last month was enough to kick my body back in to shape, but maybe I'm being overly optimistic. We had pretty good timing this month so here's to hoping this is cycle!

Thanks for listening!

  • Thanks for all the positivity and love for my puppy! Pits get such a bad rep but the are really loving and wonderful dogs when raised correctly. She's a fatty ball of snuggles and slobbery kisses! Best fur-baby I could ever ask for!
