We're having G's 1st birthday party on Saturday (omg, how is that possible??) and then we're going to stay at my parent's house and visit that weekend. I don't think we'll do fireworks since they won't happen until way past G's bedtime. Hopefully we'll do a little BBQ or go to our town's annual 4th of July celebration on the actual day.
Sunday is his birthday party. On Monday, I want to take DS to an old fashioned parade with marching bands in the morning. After that we'll come home and back treats to take to the party at my brother and SIL's that evening and for his school party on Tuesday. Maybe a nap and then drive to Hollister for a crazy fun party with all the fixings and fireworks with my family. It's a crazy packed five days or so but it should be so much fun!
Not much. We usually go over to my parents' for a BBQ but we've been cordially disinvited this year. Well, they'll be out of town that day so I guess we could still go over and make our own BBQ... Hmm... Other than that, not much going on. Now that J's older we may try to do something but fireworks seem like they may still be too much.
We're hosting a BBQ/Pool Party on Sunday. Our downtown hosts a parade on the 4th so we'll probably watch that and scope out some fireworks in the evening.
hopefully doing nothing till monday! on monday we have a bday party that starts at 4pm about an hour or so away. so i dont think we will stay till fireworks, plus we gotta work on tuesday.

Well I've been toying with doing the local 5K the morning of but if not, we'll just go to the parade and then hang out at home. And if we do that, I will be popping in Yankee Doodle Dandy and making the boys watch it with me. I'd love to make a big spread of food & yummies but not if it's just us. Some sibs & their families may join us and if that's the case we'll only have sparklers on hand...the boys are NOT fans of fireworks unfortunately.

Our court hosts a block party. Water slides, bike parade, potluck, fireworks, Family and friends! SO much fun! We can't wait!
Camping and gold prospecting!! I can.not.wait. We leave on the 3rd and come back on the 10th.
It will be so nice-to be completely unplugged, no traffic and enjoying the fresh air and looking for gold of course.
