Newbie!!!

Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking around the boards and read the very helpful newbie post at the top, so I thought I should say hello! I'll work on getting a picture up this week.

DH and I are just getting ready for the TTC process. I just quit taking the pill last week. We're going to Europe in two weeks for our anniversary, and that was our big to do list item before TTC.

My annual appt is set for July 29th. Is it okay if we start TTC before then, or should we wait? Any advice would be appreciated. I'm really looking forward to joining in on the conversations on the boards!

Welcome!!! I just started posting on this board last week. Hello fellow newbie!!!

This is our 2nd month TTC and my annual appointment is July 19th. I have questions for my doctor, but I'm hoping to be pregnant by then. Based on advice from others and reading stuff online, start taking prenatal vitamins now. I didn't at first because I forgot all about them. I just bought the CVS brand and started taking them 2 weeks ago. Also saw suggestions to get ovulation predictor kits especially because I have no clue when I ovulate because of the pill,.

Hello and welcome! It is ok to start TTC before your trip. I asked about TTC at my annual and the doc basically said start taking PNV and GL. She did say to wait a full cycle for a period before TTC but that is just a personal preference. I do not think that is required for any health issues or anything. (please correct me if I am wrong ladies) GL to you and have a great anniversary and trip!
