Yep, I am. I have lost all my PG weight, but I am still not where I want to be. I need the accountabity of recording what I eat - that is instrumental in weight loss for me.
I am not - but I have a friend in LLL who went on it, and her milk ended up not being fatty enough and she had to go off. Her daughter started needing a LOT more milk because it wasn't high enough in calories.
I am not sure if that is always the case, of course, but I would always be wary of anything too low fat when breastfeeding. Just don't go bananas. You are still feeding 2 people!
One of the keys is to make sure you eat ALL your points. You get 14 extra points a day because you are nursing. Make sure you use every point. You also need to use your extra weekly points too. If you don't use all your points, your calories willbe too low. Also, the CHOICES in foods is instrumental. If you use your points on crap food, that will make a huge impact on your milk production and content. Make sure you are eating healthy fats, whole grains, dairy and lean proteins.
