What all did you see. I have an appt tomorrow and will be about 10 w 1 day and my DH can't get off work so I asked my cousin (like my sister) to come with me. Just wondered if it would be boring for her or if you can actually see the LO moving around and stuff at this point. TIA!

I had one at 9 weeks and we could see the little one moving around. I had another one at my ob appt. at 10 weeks, They did a stomach one, and you could see but not really clearly, so they did a vaginal one, and the little one was moving around everywhere, and would not stay still. It was quite impressive to watch. We got a great shot, where you can clearly make out the arms and leg buds.

The heartbeat was clear and strong.

You should get to see a lot. It was very emotional for me.

I had an U/S at 8w and 10w. The u.s at 10w was great! LO looked so much more like a baby! LO did not move much but I have heard that some ladies say they were bouncin all over the place. I definitly think it would be fun to bring your cousin. I have my NT scan today (2 weeks later) and am hoping to see LO bouncin up and down, lol. Good Luck tomorrow.

I had one at 10 w 4 days and it was perfect! We were able to see baby moving around and see the heart beat. My Dr did a 3d u/s and the pic is amazing! We can see baby's arms up by his/her face and see the leg buds! It was amazing!

I had one at 9w6d. It was the first time the baby actually looked like a baby in there! We could see him or her moving around, you could clearly see arms and legs and the heart thumping away. I would definitely bring your cousin along, it was the best u/s we had done so far!

I have my first appointment on thursday and my DH was going to take off but they told me on the phone that I wasn't going to have an U/S that is was a long "talking appointment about family history, do/don't of pregnancy.... So I told him that it wasn't a big deal if he couldn't make it... but he is so excited to hear the heartbeat... I am thinking I'll take a recorder or see if I can call him to hear over the phone with me... But as much as I want to see or hear something... I want it to be an appt that DH can come to... So we'll see.... good luck!

I had an ultrasound at 10w 1d and it was amazing. The heart beat was loud and clear and the baby was moving all over the place that it was hard to get some clear shots.

When it stopped moving it's back was to us and we could see the spine and the little baby bottom. My husband thought that was the best, and then showed the picture of the baby mooning us to all of his friends.

My first ob/nurse practitioner appt. was a "talking appt" as well, but the NP, asked if we wanted to take an unofficial look! Of course the answer was yes!

Definitely not boring! The u/s tech zoomed in and showed us the baby's heart beating and we could see him/her jumping around. Very amazing

She should def come with you! I have had 3 ultrasounds already (couldn't tell you why though) and they were all great. You get to see a lot better picture with the vaginal u/s and also hear/see the heartbeat. The baby will probably be moving around a lot @10wks, but it depends on your baby since they're all so different! I wonder if there are different foods you could eat beforehand that would make the baby more alert and active?? I have no idea, just a random thought! Good luck!!

I had one at 10 weeks and it was the coolest thing I have ever seen! LO was so active! S/he was flipping and spinning and movng those little arms and legs. It will def. be worth seeing if your LO is awake, and even if s/he isn't, you see a baby not a blob!

last time I had one at 9 weeks and it looked so cute. like a little gummy bear dancing and wiggling around. it was one of my very favorite ultrasounds! haha.

10 weeks is a great time to get an u/s! You'll see it moving and kicking and punching. Ours was really active - and it looks just like a little baby at that point.

I had one at 9w5d and it was amazing! At 7 weeks, it just looked like a little shrimp blob, but 9w5d it looked like a baby! I was able to point out the heartbeat right away (as compared to the first one where I had to squint where the NP showed me). S/he really looked like a baby, and was jumping and waving his/her arms. So cute! My husband and I were both laughing with joy.
