Hi there! I've been lurking for a while but would love to join in on the board. My husband is the best, but I know if I don't find someone else to vent to he may reach his limit with my TTC talk! We have a 19 month old now, and have been "trying" for #2 since the end of last summer. I have to use trying loosely because he's military and was away for almost a year and I only saw him 1 or 2 weekends out of the month. So we are thinking the timing just didn't work out. I got pregnant with DD the first month we tried, and without charting, OPK's or any of that, so I guess I got cocky and figured #2 would be just as easy. Last month I got the CBE Fertility Monitor and according to that I had my ovulation day off by 4 or 5 days... Yes, I have learned that those calendars you find online are no good. I plan on temping next month if this month wasn't successful, but am in my 2WW now and would love some help to not go crazy. I know you all understand.
Sorry for the long post but thanks for reading!
Re: Just wanted to say hi...
Welcome & good luck!
I'm a military wife too, and we're trying to plan ours for before he has to deploy again. It certainly makes things interesting!

A family member who now has 2 grown children said he had to tell his wife he could be there for the conception or the birth, but probably not both. DH's schedule is going to get crazy again in a couple months so it definitely adds to the stress! I was originally obsessed with timing it so he would definitely be around for the birth, but now I'm just getting desperate! :-)
Hi! I'm new too!
I'm with you on the lesson of "online ovulation calendars are junk" and my S/O is also just about at his limit of hearing about babies and TTC.
I started temping this cycle and am picking up some OPKs today.
Good luck to you!
