I always like seeing where other people are to compare...
J was born at 36wk1day - 7lb 3oz and 19.5 inches...
Today he is 17lb 13oz and 25.75 inches...
He is EBF - the nurse called him the poster child for BFing...
Poor thing is sleeping off the shots now (or making up for the fact that he was up 2 1/2 hours straight when he is usually napping.
Re: 4 (1/2) month stats...
Our DSs have the same birthday! Yay for V-Day babies.
DS will be almost 5 months when he goes for his appt, but he was born at 39 weeks at 10lb 11oz and 22.5 inches.
According to my home measurements he is 20lbs 5 oz and 27 inches. He's a big guy.
I feel bad because DH will have to deal with DS after his 4 month shots because I have a night class after his appt.
E was born at 37w2days - 8lbs and 20 inches...
Today he is 17lb 5ozand 26 inches...
I get so tired of everyone telling me how HUGE he is. It makes me feel like I am doing something wrong, but the doctor didn't seem concerned at all.DD was 7lbs 7oz and 19" at birth. At her 2 and 4 month appointments she was 10lbs 3oz and went from 23 to 25"- she didn't gain any weight in 2 months thanks to 4 month wakeful at 3 1/2 months, a nursing strike, & my supply tanking before AF. We go back tomorrow to find out how she's doing now, but based on our home scale she's around 11lbs 4-6oz and seems taller since she's outgrowing more clothes height-wise.
ETA: She was born on her due date and is EBF.

We get a lot of comments on what a big boy J is, or how healthy he looks, or comments on his rolls and cheeks - but I think they are all trying to be positive, not insulting.
For a while he was putting on a lot of bulk before gaining a lot of length, and then we got more comments about what a chubster he is.
I think it is similar to not really being able to comment on pg ladies weight, since it is always a worry about gaining too much or too little...
