Ok, so if an OPK detects surge of LH than, based on my understanding it would NOT be possible to O on a day when you have +'s ALL day long (we're talking LOTS of sticks were peed on). I've been playing around on FF and when I put in a high temp for tomorrow, it is telling me I O'd on CD17, but, again, I don't see how this is possible bc I had +'s ALL DAY AND NIGHT.
On CD18 I had a + with my FMU, but -'s for the rest of the day. I imagine with a few more days of temps, FF will move my CH's up to CD18, but I'm not 100% sure if my thinking is accurate. What do you think?
TIA!
Re: OPK- O Day
IVF #1 with ICSI - ER 1/20 (16R, 12M, 10F), ET 1/23 (1-10 cell and 1-8cell transferred), BFP on 1/31 Beta #1 on 2/3 = 68, Beta #2 on 2/6 = 261 EDD 10/12/12
Sorry about making it confusing. I tried to explain to DH and he was lost also.
Day 17- +OPK ALL day and night. FF says O day
Day 18- +OPK with FMU. -'s rest of the day. FF says no O.
Based on my understanding and what you said, I think O day HAS to be day 18 and not 17 like FF says. Agree?
FF did this to me, and then with a few more days of temps moved my CH. I was in the same boat, lots of sticks peed on, + all day CD 21 and with second urine on CD 22, but FF had my CH on CD 21. After I temped out farther it moved them to CD 23 (you can look if you want to see what FF considered).
When I asked a similar question I was told that sometimes you can O while still having a surge, especially if you're catching the end as it tapers off, as by then it's done it's job. Not likely, but possible. I think temp is a more reliable indicator, so when in doubt it goes by that.
Finally, FF did put and leave my CH on my +OPK day last month. Not sure why, I had been assuming I O'd later. But it can happen.
