Results (not sure what they mean yet)

So we got DH's SA results and talk about confusing to read! I tried to make sense of them last night, but the way the report is written I am not even sure if things are matching correctly on the lines. DH said the lab girl told him he is above average. The doctor is calling him this morning and I gave DH a list of questions to ask in comparing his results (Thank you Punky!!). So just waiting on the doctor before getting excited or upset....will keep you ladies posted.

I think that it's a great sign if the lab person said he is above average! Now you just need the Dr to confirm. Not a problem at all!

I think that it's a great sign if the lab person said he is above average! Now you just need the Dr to confirm. Not a problem at all!

That is the key, because with my DH everything about him is all good if you ask his opinion. So I won't believe anything until he has the answers for the questions by the doctors. If I read things right then he is just below average.....

In my area at at least, lab techs keep their lips firmly buttoned unless the results of tests are so extremely clear that there's no room for doubt.* If the lab woman said they look good, that's a very good sign!

* I don't have any experience with fertility testing, but I've had more medical tests than I care to recall for other problems.

DH just texted me and said he was driving when the doctor called him and he couldn't get my list of questions out...lol. So the doctor is going to call me around 12 today...more waiting! Grr...DH said the doctor told him it was all good. So I will just wait for the breakdown!

Waiting sucks, but this is great news, yes? Dr. him/herself says things are good, and YOU get to have all your questions answered directly without having to play telephone. Yay!

So it seems, however DH just told me to call him and tell him what he says which makes me think he didn't relay things properly...I will just feel MUCH better once I talk to the doctor!

That's great, Rven! I think there is nothing to fear if both the lab person and the doctor said the result is good! MH's result were average, but on the lower end and I know how anxious I was while waiting for those results!
