what are your 4th of July plans?

I think we're going to invite some friends over (they have 4-yr old and a 1-year old) over to have lunch and go to our community pool with us. Boring, but we have to stick close to home these days because E doesn't sleep well on the go.

We have a birthday party in the AM. DH has to work..:( He starts another homestand. Our 5yr Ann is on Friday the 1st so I think we are going to go out to dinner on Saturday night..

We are supposed to go on vacation July 9-16 we were supposed to go home to MA and then to the Cape..well things got all kind of confused and now I am not sure if we are going to be able to go..I am totally bumed out

. DH just said as he was walking out the door that maybe we can go to Disney (it's like 4 hrs from us) for a few days. BUt it's soo HOT here in Fla and I have been feeling terrible in this first tri..so kind of the last thing I want to do is go to Disney but we will have to see..

BBQ with friends that day at the local park (we rented a spot) parade in the am, then fireworks that night. If it is hot we might go to the pool but so far Riley isn't a fan.

we are taking our first overnight trip without DD. we are leaving on saturday morning, and will pick up DD from grandmom's on Monday afternoon. i'm excited to have some alone time with DH, but i know that i'll miss DD like crazy!

Nothing. Paige is terrified of loud noises, so I'm not going to traumatize her with fireworks. We will probably have a family day at home with baby pool and ordering pizza : )

My hubby has been gone so much lately with fun travel, work, and school, so I'm desperate for some quality time with him.

We have an annual block party every 4th of July on the street DH grew up on. IT IS THE BEST! They get barricades from the town and block their street and everyone brings their grills and patio furniture and parties all day long. We start at 9 am with a small bike parade for the kids and have everything from a pie eating contest to a scavenger hunt to a egg toss. Oh, and drinking games for the adults. Everyone makes food to share We usually have about 50-75 ppl since everyone brings friends and those who have moved come back every year to visit. We look forward to it every year.

We are visiting my family in Ohio for 8 days. We will be there for the 4th and then we are having Madilynn baptized. It will be the first time most of my family has met Madilynn, so I am super excited. On the actual holiday we are going to the local outlet malls in the morning and a family BBQ in the afternoon. I can't wait!

We are going to a small BBQ at my friend's house on the 3rd (it's a family party -- her family has pretty much adopted us since we live far from our own families). On Monday, another friend of mine is having her huge annual bash. There is a kids party in the afternoon, then an "adults only" party at night. I'm not sure if we'll be able to go back at night, but if our babysitter can come, we might. I'm debating whether or not we should take Ava to see the fireworks. She might love it, but she might be terrified.

We are headed to the beach for the weekend with 50 or so family members. Furthest thing from relaxing but should be fun.
