update to waiting

I spent 4 hrs in L&D. They hooked the monitors up. No contractions, no movement but good HR. They gave me a HUGE thing of ice water and made me drink. When they did that they gave me a buzzer to tell them when the baby moved. It took awhile but he moved. Then they wanted an u/s. I had to wait for that and he almost failed. They have 30 min to get everything they need and that includes seeing breathing and a large movement. He didnt want to move til the very end (were talking less than 2 min left in the window). In order to get him to move I had to drink more, roll side to side and they had to jiggle/shake and put pressure on my belly/him. Then he decided he was going to make the BIG movement and flip from transverse to head down. As they were letting me go home they were worried again til I told them we had been here 4 hrs and it had been 9 hrs sense I last ate. They told me go home and eat and come back if he isnt moving in the am. My fluid was good at 19 and everything else looked good. He is just lazy and not doing anything that isnt on his terms.

OH MY GOSH!! I am so mad I didn't come on here earlier, I would have been freaking out for you! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that everything is okay with your little one. How terrifying! Keeping my fingers crossed for no more scares and that everything is smooth sailing from here on out!
