laundering mama pads

First time mama pad user here and was wondering if you ladies had tips for laundry care. Should I just toss them in with the cloth diaper laundry and use the same method as for my CDs? (cold rinse, hot wash, cold rinse)

Any tips would be recommended.

    I throw mine in with our CDs. I know hot wash can set the a stain but I'd rether them be good and sanitized. I do rinse them out with cold water before I put in a wet bag that I hang in the bathroom. I know some people recommend soaking in cold water after use before washing but I've never done that.

    I rinse mine by hand in cold water, then put into a wetbag until laundry time.  I used to soak them in cold water, but I didn't find that it eliminated stains any better and it was kind of a pain.  I put them in the hot wash with CDs, or sometimes I wash them with whites (also a hot wash).

    I normally wash them with my whites or towels. No fancy pre-wadh since I made them and I don't really care about their appearance.

    I put them directly in the washing machine and they go in what ever the next load is seems ot work.
