A BFP, but....

I tested yesterday morning at 12 dpIUI and got a BFP! However, I tested again this morning and although it was still a BFP I think it was lighter! Also, since Saturday, I have been having on-again-off-again cramping but no spotting. I thought for sure I was getting AF and was shocked when I tested on Sunday and got a positive. Could this be a c/p? I have a beta scheduled for Wednesday morning but I am super nervous and haven't been able to get excited yet.

I tested at 11dpIUI and got my BFP and the doctor bumped up my beta. That is what I would try. Also a line is still a line, especially from one day to the next. There are no signs of a c/p everything feels like you are going to start your period. I am only 4 weeks and 3 days today and I still have moments where I feel like AF is going to start and I check all the time but I haven't had any bleeding yet. I hope that this is your "real" BFP and you can start to feel excited after you see your HCG number rise!

I don't think you can tell a c/p from a pee stick unless the line goes away completely and you get AF. Your urine could just have been more dilute the second time. Congrats and I hope this is it for you!

Exactly, did you use FMU the 2nd time? Could have just been a more diluted sample. Congrats!! Looks like you are KU!

I agree with PP. Your urine could have been more diluted for the second test. I wouldn't stress about it. But I would call to see if they can get you in today and then on Wednesday for a beta test.

I would say this! I would try calling and having them bump up your beta. I hope this is it for you and always remember a line is a line. Congrats.

Where they the same brand test? I wouldn't get too discouraged yet. I would test again tomorrow and see what happens.

I'm sending positive thoughts your way for a dark 2nd line tomorrow!

Thank you all for your positive vibes! I called the nurse line and got the beta bumped to tomorrow morning. Both HPT's were with FMU and from the same box. I did take today's test earlier than the Sunday one. Yesterday I slept in till about 8 and tested when I got up, today, I got up when DH's alarm went off at 5:30. Maybe the Sunday test was more concentrated.
