DS figured me out
night #1 attempting to "sleep train". My thought going in was I would lay S down drowsy and let him cry 1 minute before picking him up, cuddle him til he stopped crying, lay him back down and repeat. About 20 minutes in he TOTALLY figured out that I would hold him as long as he was making noise, and he started groaning while he exhaled!
*inhale- grumble grumble grumble grumble
*inhale- grumble grumble grumble grumble
So needless to say, I ended up holding him til he fell asleep. Stinker.

Hahaha...
I was sleep training last week with the recommendations in Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child.
This week, I am no longer sleep training.
I would like to say that my kid is "trained"...but he's not. I'm back to "Rock a bye baby, on the tree top" and "sssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" while in the gilder going back and forth...
...back and forth.....
..............back and forth.......
And then he goes in the crib asleep, wakes up when he hits the sheets, I pick him up and it's "Rock a bye baby"...
