I have PCOS and part of my cervix was removed in 2002/03. In 2004 when we got married we had to see an RE for help. Through the testing we found out DH had 1% normal morphology and we did IVF with ICSI. DH doesn't mind telling people that we did IVF but doesn't want people to know he has MFI. Are other guys the same? He's ok with people knowing about my issues just not his.
Re: Those with MFI
My husband has 0% morph and then I have issues of my own. I'm not sure he goes around telling his friends about his issue but I've told people and he's never minded or asked me not to.
I do know that sometimes he feels guilty about it even though it's not really something he can help. I guess I would understand if he didn't want other people knowing.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
most of our friends know, dh had a torsion in 6th grade which caused one testicle to stop working. He's fine with me telling people about our MFI but I feel like I always need to follow it up with something like "it doesn't affect his performance" because it doesn't but you hear injury and not working and you think maybe there are other problems. He doesn't like me talking about his performance very much but I like taking the oppertunity to call him a stud.
