Alright, I'm a teacher and go back mid August. I pump and BF, and DS does well with both breast and bottle. When I go back, I have off 2 periods a day, 2nd hour and 8th hour (last period of the day), and then, I have a short lunch 5th hour. DS eats about every 2-3 hours right now. He is 2 months and will be about 4 when I go back. Will I have to pump all of those periods, just 2nd and 8th (5 hours apart...), or just 5th? I have a friend who plans on just doing it once mid day. Would that be enough? Any suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!!! I really want to be successful. I will have to pump in a small bathroom or utility closet..boo!
Re: Working Moms/Pumping...
Plan on pumping all three times; you never know how the stress of going back to work and pumping instead of nursing will affect your supply. If you don't need to do all 3, then you can drop one as needed.
Sucky that you have to pump in a bathroom or closet.
Okay, I will. Thanks!
