We have the evenflo triumph 65 for one of our cars and so far we like it. When he outgrows in the infant seat we will need to get another one for the other car. We also considered the graco myride 65 but it was too giant. I suggest going to babies r us and trying a few in your car, we thought we would go with the britax but after testing it in the smaller of our 2 cars we decided against it.
We have a Britax Boulevard, which I haven't used yet, but it is HUGE. It also appears to be super-sturdy and cushy, so when LO gets big enough, that will be her main seat in my car.
We also bought an Evenflo Tribute 5 (cheap $40 seat from Amazon) for my parents to use with her this summer (they're our daycare this summer). I wasn't expecting much, but I bought it because it was cheap and got outstanding safety reviews. It has turned out to be an awesome seat! It's well-padded, and it installs tighter/more securely than our Graco infant seat. The only downside is that this one only RF to 35 pounds and FF to 40 pounds, so it won't last forever, but I'm really glad we got this one as a secondary seat!
Jimmie, mama to Zoey (March 2011)
Losses 5/13, 8/13, and 3/14.
Expecting another GIRL! Carter Grace due on 12/25.
We have already installed the Britax Boulevard in DH's car, and I think it's an awesome seat. It's so sturdy. We've already bought a Sunshine Radian 65 , but haven't installed it yet. That's because we are still using the infant seat some of the time and I'm about to get a new car in a couple weeks anyway.
Re: Which convertible car seat are you getting?

Both were rated highly in Baby Bargains.
This.
We have the Evenflo Triumph 65 for both cars. I love it so far. I love that you don't have to re-thread the straps every time.
I was debating between the Evenflo and the Graco MyRide 65 but after trying them in my car the Graco was just too big.
I kind of wish that I would have gotten the Radian because it's so much more narrow than most other convertibles.
