Time of day for 2nd b-day party poll (non-clicky)

What time of day do you think is better for a two year old's party?  Most kids will be two with a couple of one, three, and four year old's. Mostly concerned about naptimes for everybody and hoping to avoid a bunch of cranky kids...

1. Late-morning: 10-12 ish

2. Early afternoon: 12-2 ish

3. Mid-afternoon: 2-4 ish

    When my dd was 2, she was taking one nap a day from about 12-3 so I would go with the 2-4/3-5 time frame.  10-12 would be OK but you might have a lot of cranky kids getting ready for nap time.  12-2 seems like smack dab in the middle of nap time for most kids but I'm going from my experience.

    We just had the girls party yesterday.  I did it from 11-12:30 so this way they played early, had lunch and then I took them home and they took a great nap for us.   Late day parties are also good but anything around noon seems like typical nap time for most toddlers

    DS' party is planned for 11am because he naps around 1pm.

    I think it would be a bit crazy to try and work around everybody's nap unless of course EVERYONE napped at the same time.  It's a nice thought but in the end if people really want to go they'll adjust or deal with it for the day.  Naptime isn't a big concern for us since a majority of the kids are 3 and up.  DD naps at 1 and we have her party scheduled from 11-2.  We're already accepting that she won't nap that much that day and will probably get sleep time in the car.

    mid afternoon would be best if you ask me. most daycare's nap between 12-2ish, give or take a half hour , so many kids are on that schedule. by doing it later most kids are well rested and ready to play

    Thanks ladies! I'm leaning towards 2-4 so that most kids will have napped or can take an early nap.  Last year everyone was so little there wasn't very much interaction or excitement.  This year DD really knows and enjoys her friends, and I want them to participate in the activities and have fun together.
