UTI and Travel

DD has had fever for 5 days.  We went back to the pedi this morning and she was diagnosed with a UTI.  We started her on medication today.  Her pedi seems to think she will be feeling better within a day or two.  We are scheduled to fly to Miami on Wed. late afternoon to visit friends for 6 days.  Pedi said we can go. My plan is to decide tomorrow night.  As long as she is fever free and acting better I'm thinking we can go.

Anyone have any experience with UTIs in their LOs?  How quickly were they feeling better?  Would you travel?

    I have no experience with UTI's, but if she seemed to be feeling ok, I'd probably travel with no qualms.  Hope she feels better soon.
