Any Splash Pads Around?

I live in Harford County, and don't know of any splash pads around. It seems like everyone I know out-of-state has a park close by with an awesome splash pad. Does anybody know of any close? My kids would love it!

So funny you just posted this. I was just looking at a friends pics on FB thinking about how nice it would be if we had one here (she lives i Michigan). I don't know of any public splash pads. The Bel Air Athletic Club has one, but, obviously you have to be a member.

I am looking for one too. I think I read a post somewhere that said there was some sort of water play thing at the Inner Harbor near the Science Museum. (?) I know there is one in downtown Silver Spring, but who wants to schlepp all the way over there?

There is one near the Science Center but I didn't walk up closer to see if it was clean. I think that we are going there sometime this week and if we do I will go check it out and report back (provided of course that I remember my son's shoes).

I wouldn't make a special trip to go to the one in downtown Baltimore. If you are there anyway, its fun, but its set into the sidewalk and its not enclosed at all. Its a city sidewalk so while it wasn't gross dirty, it wasn't particularly clean either.

I googled "splashpark, maryland" and got a bunch of options, but nothing close by. Crying
