? about the cycle after a d&c (maybe TMI)

I had a d&c done in May and I am expecting my first cycle. I had bw done about 10 days ago and the nurse called and said I had definitely ovulated (she called it a weak O, not sure how she would know that because we don't even know what cycle day the bw was done). Anyway, she said I should be expecting my period. Well last week for 1 day I had red spotting...not even for a full day, maybe just a few hours. After that I have had some brown-tinged discharge, but nothing heavy. Was that my period? Or just weird spotting? Wasn't sure what to expect since the d&c which was about 6 weeks ago.

If you had a d&c, was your next cycle a normal flow?

Yes, it was.

If they really cleaned out your lining, perhaps you could have a lighter flow though. I'd still POAS if I were you.

i THINK it was a normal flow, i can't remember exactly. i would give it another few days and then call back

I am so sorry for your loss. My first cycle after my D&C was 4 weeks later, and my period lasted 14 days. The first 10 being a heavy flow, then spotting for 4 days. Not sure if that was your period or not.
