Nerd Alert! And a "poll" (Harry Potter Related) *POSS SPOILER*
***WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT READ THE LAST BOOK THIS COULD CONTAIN A SPOILER***
DH and I are quite possibly the nerdiest Harry Potter fans alive. I've been to every midnight premier for the movies (except the last one and DH has NEVER let me hear the end of it, and the 1st one because I was in 8th grade and won an essay contest to see the "Michigan Premier" a week earlier than the actual release date) and I've been to every midnight book party since book 4.
Needless to say, being almost 34 weeks pregnant isn't going to stop me from going to the last midnight release, and DH wants to dress up. His "doppleganger" is Harry Potter. Seriously- everyone tells him he looks like HP for some reason (although really I don't see it that much!). And I got all pouty, who am I going to dress up all pregnant? Then we realized- duh- he could be Harry, I could be Ginny(Kool aid hair dye is a b!tch but worth it for HP). And we'll get a tee-shirt that points to my belly that either says:
-James Potter (the 2nd)
or
-Lily Potter(the 2nd)
We don't know whether to include the 2nd to eliminate confusion, and also if we should say James (because its my first baby) or Lily (because I am having a girl). What do you HP fans think?

I actually think you should go as James and Lily and then have a t-shirt that says Harry Potter pointing to your belly. After all, Harry is supposed to pretty much look like James, so I think that will continue to work to your advantage. And Lily and Ginny... well, they're both red-heads, which is the extent of the costume, so I think that could work for you as well.
My niece and nephew are named James and Lily. I was so excited but tried to stay quiet until it was official because their parent are not Harry Potter fans.
I tried to get DH on board to name this one Harry- to go with the family theme!! No luck so far.

But really, by the time Harry marries Ginny and they have kids, he's not going to be wearing his Hogwarts gear anyway. Our HP tradition for the past 4 movies has been to watch all the previous ones then go see the newest movie with our friends, but they are moving away this week and I'm so bummed that we won't get to see this last one with them 
That is so cute. I've never dressed up but I have gone to every HP midnight showing. My pregnant butt will be at this one and I'm counting down the days. I like the idea of going as Harrys parents and putting Harry on your bump.
I love me some HP! Now I'm going to dig up book 6 & 7 because I want to read them again before this movie comes out.
THIS!!!! That would be so cute!! Yeah Im SO excited for this movie! My friends and I always go in a huge group to all the midnight showings and midnight book releases! Im so sad this is it!! I went to the movies the other day with the BF to see The Green Hornet 3D and the Harry Potter trailer came on in 3D also!! I seriously cried. My BF was laughing at me.
Plus after the movie, my shower is on Saturday! Im so excited for that week!
