back from vacation..ultimate fail :(

so last week we were in outer banks, nc with mine and dh's whole families.  they all got along exceptionally well for the most part and I'm really proud of them. I, on the other hand, had the utmost fail. this is just a vent. sigh.

drive out during the night - brother in law gf said she "wouldnt be able to sleep" so insisted on talking throughout the night...which kept waking up LO and he kept screaming. she seriously needed a clue. sigh.

we were annoucing our KU with #2 the first day on the beach - we were there an hour and DH's family all left...while DH and I were napping (we had got there a day late).  double fail.

lastly, (TMI warning), I was seriously sick the ENTIRE FREAKING WEEK. I had bathroom issues for 5 days which resulted in milk of magnesia (never again), eating cups and cups of bran, drinking mass coffee, all of which made me feel worse, then had to have DH stick me on 2 different days (sorry don't want to explain that further).  it was horrible. the first time I felt better was yesterday, our first day home.  I felt so bad that I couldn't have fun with our son on his first vacation.  I know the sickness is a result of 1)being pregnant and 2) traveling/stress on the body.  but it was so frustrating.  it's just so stinky that I get one freaking week with LO where he is not in daycare and I spend 80% of it doubled over/laying on the floor.  vent over.  back to work.  I can't wait until I can quit my job.

(oh and on that glorious note, I THOUGHT I had blocked all of my work people from FB, and had annouced about LO#2 while we were out of town.  as soon as I walk in this morning, the most freaking nosy co-worker looks at me and yells 'CONGRATULATIONS!' obviously my FB blocking did not work.  so now I have to tell my boss today).  I'm going to crawl under a rock.

    Booooo. All of that sounds horrible. The busy body coworker is just the straw that breaks the camel's back. I hope the rest of your week gets much better.

    Oh, and I second never taking MOM again. That stuff is horrible!
