I have excess mucus!

So i am about 9 weeks and I have so much mucus in my throat, it makes me throw up everyday! Is this apart of the pregnancy? It wasn't like this with my first son but I have tried sudafed and allergy pills and that doesn't help.

    Yup, it's due to pregnancy. We women have excess mucus production everywhere when we're pregnant...ugh. My roomate is having the same problem. The only thing that's been helping her is drinking tons of water and each morning after she gets up she drinks a cup of hot tea with lemon and sometimes a little honey.
