Here's a little back story before my poll. Thanks in advance for reading and helping me make this decision.
Before DD was born, I was extremely superstitious. There was no baby stuff in my house untill DD was born and with the exception of furniture (which I had to order in advance) I didn't make any purchases till DD was born.
This time, we're having twins and DH keeps telling me that it will be so much easier to have everything in the house. He keeps telling me that we have so much baby stuff already stored in the basement, and we need to start buying things and bringing them into our house. I'm starting to come around to having the stuff in the basement, but I'm not sure how I feel about setting up the nursery.
I've decided on which stroller I want to buy for the babies (will switch when they're about 4-6 months) and have found an amazing deal online (like a savings of over $150). The thing is that there is only a 30-day return policy, and I'm freaking out that something bad will happen and I won't be able to return the stroller. Rationally I know that if something bad were to happen (g-d forbid) it wouldn't be because of the purchase or anything I could have done, but I can't help but worry.
Knowing the background, would you buy the stroller?

Re: Poll about buying baby gear for 2nd or 3rd child
I say go for it! My one GIANT regret re: my pregnancy is that I spent the entire time worrying about what could happen instead of marveling in my babies.
So go for it! There is no such thing as a jinx.
and the biggest question - WHICH STROLLER?
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
it's the City Mini Double-
I know I'll be in the significant minority on this but I said no. Like you, I'm superstitious and we don't buy stuff before baby comes except that, for each, we got the carseat, pack and play, and a handful of clothes around the 35-36 week mark (with inductions planned for 37 weeks, so cutting it pretty close). We had a later loss (23 weeks) and having to get rid of baby stuff was one of the very hardest parts of coming home from the hospital without our babies. I would have spent thousands of dollars to not have to go through that again so $150 savings wouldn't be worth it to me.
FWIW, with baby #2 that just arrived, as mentioned above, we bought virtually nothing beforehand, and have been just fine. We're ordering the double stroller soon. Most of teh stuff we had left from our son was helpful but even with him without stuff in the house we just ordered a ton online from the hospital, etc.
Good luck!
