Birth Certificate?

Ladies, do you know how I am supposed to receive O's birth certificate? I filled out the paperwork at the hospital, and I received his SS card, but we never received any info on how we would get the official copy of his birth certificate!

    If I remember correctly we got it in the mail about 6 weeks after he was born.

    I think it took a month.  But honestly, that time was all such a blur for me, so if my DH were to walk in and say it was here in 1 week or 3 months, he would be correct.

    They'll mail it. It will take awhile. We got Eve's SS card WAY before her birth cert. And it depends on the city he was born in in also as for how long it will take.

    I just got Rian's on Friday, so it took a little over 4 weeks.

    Charlie's took about 6 weeks I think

    Paul's was here within a week or so. But he was only the 2nd birth of the year in our town so I think the clerk was on top of it! lol

    You should be getting it soon. We got his SS card long before his birth certificate.
