There was a light out in the hallway of our building. According to the woman whose door it is outside, it keeps going out during rain storms. Someone else on the condo association called an electrician, and I was here to let him in.
We went up there, and he took the fixture out of the ceiling. He checked to make sure there was electricity coming through, and there was. He started to pick up the bulb and asked if anyone had checked it. He shook it.
The fvcking bulb was out. I was so freaking embarrassed. I made sure he knew I had zero part in that. He said it happens more often than I'd think.

and it cracks me up that there are people who would call for something like that to be fixed in a home they owned (you know, if they didn't have building maintenance). It IS ridiculous!
Edited to make sense.

Oh, these are all owners. Because it's in the hallway, now our condo association has to pay this guy for an hour's worth of work to change the freaking bulb.
Yeah, it didn't make sense in the way I typed it. I'm adding words in my head, but not on the computer--LOL! I edited it, but I meant that if it was in their own home, they would still call someone to fix it b/c they just didn't check it out first.
