i'm always surprised by how many more views than replies there are for each post. do you ever wonder who our lurkers are?

I think a lot more people are reading on their phones now, and it's a PITA to answer posts, at least to me, on my "kinda dumb" phone. ESP on weekends, we're out and about, and not near my computer.

I guess I'm a lurker on this board, I used to post a lot when I got pregnant with Olivia, now I mostly read to keep up with the girls on here. I guess I should post more. We are TTC #2.

I check in every night but am usually way too late to post anything of value. I do check on my phone a lot which makes it harder to reply. I wish I could contribute more, and I frankly have no idea why I'm so shy on the message boards!

Me! I lurk... I guess because I never really introduced myself after DS arrived and now he Is four months and an intro seems silly? I don't know... I posted on IF and it was so helpfulThen a bit on PAIF too. I lurked here then as well. Everyone here seems so nice. Sometimes I Really wan to get involved but I suppose like PP said ... I get shy on boards?Anyway.... Hi from lurkdom

I feel like the janitor. I am usually on after 10:00 or so, when everyone is gone. I don't reply much because I am so late to the party. I am on almost every night, and though I am friendly still with a lot of the girls I met on IF, I have gotten to know a lot of you on SAIF from reading your posts. So HI from the janitor!

I wander in and lurk sometimes when my other boards are feeling slow (often happens since I tend to be online late at night) but I'm still getting settled in PAIF, not much to add over here

I also think the read value does not correlate to the actual number of reads - I've had times where after I read something the count goes up by >5.

Also, I don't get the point of the view count, and I especially don't understand getting bent out of shape over it, which I sometimes see.

I lurk all the time on my phone too. I don't usually get on my laptop until the girls are asleep but since our internet keeps going out every 2 minutes, I haven't really been on it.

This exactly! I am always on my phone and having to turn javascript on and off all the time is a huge PITA. I have been trying to post more often though..

I lurk more than post. I am still feeling a bit overwhelmed by my DD...newborn stage is hard! Every time I seem to have a second to read a post...M starts to fuss. I swear she has ESP...she just seems to know! (She also knows exactly when I am ready to eat...cue the fussies!)

I keep hoping that I will get more time to bump soon!
