I have done research, and I kind of know what I want, but I haven't bought anything...

I still think we have a ton of time and so does DH, I mean we do right?

The only thing that we have purchased is a crib and that was only because we got a great deal on it. To be honest, I haven't even started researching anything...I know I really need to get on that.

I have not purchased one single thing. Nor have I started cleaning out the guest room so it can be turned into a nursery. I keep thinking that there is a ton of time left, but everything seems to be going by so fast and I really need to get my butt in gear.

I have also bought nothing! I am mostly waiting to find out the gender before I register and buy things. I just started looking at cribs and strollers last weekend to get an idea of what we want, but I feel like we have plenty of time (which I'm sure will go by fast though!)

You are not alone. I have done a little bit of research, but thats about it. I dont plan on buying anything until the a/s. Even then I prob wont actually buy anything big for a while.( Maybe an outfit or two but thats it.) DH and I are planning on doing our registry after we get back from our "babymoon" mid August. After my shower we will be able to see what we still need and I'll start buying things from that point on.

I've bought one onesie, that's it (because it was sooo cute). I plan on buying the bedroom furniture in August then waiting for my shower for everything else. I'll probably buy something blue or something pink the day I find out the gender.

We bought our stroller because it was on sale, but... that's about it. We still need to get our house in order - right now there's no where to put anything (the stroller is parked in our living room)!

Meeee! I haven't bought anything yet. I went to babies r us this weekend for the first time. It's not that I haven't wanted to look but I've been so scared about losing the baby that I wanted to wait unil 2nd tri. We did however buy DH a diaper bag that was on sale. Once we know the sex of he baby I think I'll really get into it.

I haven't bought anything because I plan on getting most of what we need at my shower later this year. I know plenty of moms-to-be who waited until their 7th month to make major purchses.

We haven't bought a thing. We have most of the big things from DD but we haven't even thought about starting to clean the room and that will be the first thing we do. When I was pregnant with DD we didn't buy anything until 18ish weeks.

No we haven't. I've picked up a couple packages of wipes and diapers because I had some coupons but we haven't bought anything bigger items. Although I guess I did buy a pack and play but it was brand new and I got it for 40 bucks from someone.

:raises hand: And I don't plan on starting any time soon. I didn't buy a thing the first time until after my baby shower (I was 7 months.). This time around I won't need as much but I will probably wait until 7 or 8 months. There is plenty of time, plus the third tri drags on forever so it will give me something to look forward to.

We haven't bought a single thing (unless you count some maternity clothes for me). We also haven't been given a single baby thing (not that I'd expect it, but see other posters have been able to inherit a bunch of cool stuff from family and friends).

Researching - yes. Purchasing - nope. We'll probably hold off until after the anatomy scan which is a month away.

You are not alone! I have been so paranoid after previous losses that I felt like I was going to jinx things. I still haven't told many people that I'm expecting. I have a Dr. appt on Wed so maybe I'll feel better after that--once I have more reassurance that everything is going ok.

We bought a basket that I have been wanting for a long time for our home and we decided it would go in the nursery. So, technically I say we haven't purchased anything for baby or nursery. I have been doing some research and do know what stroller I want but we probably won't buy anything until at least August. I believe my shower will be in September.

We've bought one onesie from our alma mater while visiting the east coast. It took me a long time to get pregnant, and it's taken be a long time to get used to being pregnant, and I'm still not ready to buy things yet!

We've just now started researching cribs and strollers. I know we have time, but I'd like to be prepared if anyone asks for gift ideas.

I'm in the same boat. I've researched a lot and really just waiting to find out the sex so I can start registering and then maybe buying some small things here and there. I'm trying to put most of my spending towards the nursery when that time comes.

I've done plenty of browsing online and gone to Babysrus a few times to look at big items like furniture, strollers and carseats, but we haven't bought a single thing yet. I dont think there is really an point until we know what the gender is...so two weeks and counting! and then the buying can begin!

i haven't bought anything but we already own a ton from my girls. i don't buy bedding and start painting till i know the gender. i feel like once I am post 24 weeks (viability), then i am safe to start buying.
