+ OPK with FMU, then - 3 hours later. PIP

This is continued from earlier, but more specific to OPKs not dotted CH.

Ill have to post again b/c it wont let me post 2 pics. This is from 5:30am. Looks + to me using FMU??

And 3 hours later... Should I mark + OPK in FF? I had read that FMU can cause false +, or is it possible I just got the end of the surge this morning?

Note FF gave me dashed CH on CD11 (which I am thinking are not accurate)

Last month was my first using OPKs, but I got my darkest positive with FMU and then at 11am had a slightly lighter (equal to the control line) test line, and then by dinner time it was negative. I counted the FMU as positive in FF and then noted that the 11am was also positive. Had I just gotten the FMU positive though, I'd have counted it unless my specific test directions said not to count it.

FMU cannot always be trusted for OPKs, but I would hump it out any way

I don't think FMU would give you a false positive. Usually they tell you not to test with FMU because you might miss your surge that way, but I have gotten several +OPKs with FMU. I'd say you probably just caught the end of it.

That's exactly what I would be doing. When we TTC in August, I plan on BDing at least EOD until I see a confirmed thermal shift and CHs, just to be safe. GL to you!

At the beginning of my LH surge I have always, successfully gotten my first + OPK for the cycle with FMU. However, I would also have a few + after that.

I would try another OPK later today. Your chart looks like you *may* have O'd but I agree, I do not think FF dashed CHs are correct- but are for now due to the data they have. Maybe testing 3 hours later wasn't long enough to hold your urine. Was it dilluted?

It wasn't diluted. The only liquid I had from 5-8:45 was the water to take my PNV. Ill test again later today. If I put a +OPK in FF it takes away the CH, which I agree it should. I noted the + for now, if I get another + later today Ill enter it.

I'm anxious to see what my temps do the next few days. If they stay up I will just agree with FF and pass the one random +OPK off as a dud, and assume I just missed my surge.

AND of course hump it out for the rest of the week just in case I'm sure DH won't mind.

I don't know why I didn't look at your chart first thing, but looking at it, and with you having EWCM today, I'd guess you haven't O'd yet, but might be today. Especially with getting a +OPK this morning. Last cycle, I had quite a few patches of fertile CM and then no thermal shift until I got that FMU +OPK.

Don't be sorry at all

The dotted CH is the reason I am so confused. If I had just woken up to EWCM and a +OPK I would not be questioning anything... FF had to confuse it with the CH...

Im going to hold out until 12:30 and try another OPK to see what happens. IF I really did O, at least our timing was still on
