Sleep issues with lower crib?

Any one have sleep issues after lowering crib?

I went ahead and lowered it to the bottom (there are only three levels).  Her nose is now at about the top of the crib.  I was thinking it might be too much, but I don't want to raise it to the second level.  Was it a transition for your child when you lowered the mattress?

Re: Sleep issues with lower crib?

  • We went ahead and went straight to the lowest setting too. The first few nights he woke up a few times and only wanted his paci but settled right back down. We are pretty sure since the "view" had changed that when he woke up he didn't recognize it and got scared. It did pass in a few days and we haven't had any problems since.

Do you play in her room? Maybe getting her to play near her bed to see that it's lowered might help. Good luck!

  • Ours never noticed when we lowered her crib. We went from highest to lowest setting.
    Dear Bump: You suck.
