Random baby name funny that nobody probably remembers

A while ago, a girl on 2nd tri posted that she had just her anatomy scan and found out they were going to be having a little girl.  The name she and her dh had picked out and had proudly displayed in her badge? Analeigh.  

I, along with several other BOTB posters, pointed out was she SURE this was the spelling she wanted to go with... kids being kids and all, and, uh, not that my mind isn't already a cesspool, but it's not a stretch to see how a name and spelling like that could go very wrong.

Well I just saw her post something again today and the name has been altered to Anna Leigh.  

Her future daughter can thank us all later.

    I actually do remember this (my memory sucks).  It's a pretty name.  Thank goodness she isn't spelling it Analeigh.  That would not have been good for the poor kid.

    It took me way too long to figure out why spelling it Analeigh would be bad. I iz slow.

    Lol. I actually know an Annalee. It's very fitting for her. At first I was kind of amused because had never heard that name, but now, knowing her, I think it's pretty ( though ns). But I could see how it could go wrong.

    Normally my mind is in the gutter, but I also had to read it several times before seeing what was wrong with that spelling.

    you mean that some one actually listened to the posters? Im shocked! Most of the time it turnes into a "well im going to name my kid what ever I want, stop being so mean, i posted here but only wanted the postive opinions."

    glad that she listened, now her kid wont hate her later.

    Ok, even after you posted this it took me a ridiculously long time to figure it out. Are kids really that clever? I don't think Analeigh is any worse than Jack honestly. There are about 598 ways to make fun of a Jack. ::shug::

    Yup. She would have hated her parents. I think Jack is so common, that while some kids may make a random joke here and there, it will never reach the proportions of Analeigh.
