Has anyone thrown a casino party? I'm looking for price estimates and company recommendations. We are considering throwing a casino party for my friend's 30th. Thanks.
I threw one for DH's 30th back in 2006. I rented everything from a casino supply company in Dayton because they gave me the best deal. I don't remember the name, but know it was on Needmore Rd. I rented 3 slot machines (came with tokens), a roulette wheel, a craps table and a few poker tables. I think I also rented chips, but I don't remember (I was able to borrow some items from a friend/church so I don't recall exactly what was rented vs borrowed). I have access to a truck, so I was able to pick everything up in Dayton and bring it back to the party location in Fairfield which saved on delivery cost. I spent a few hundred dollars on the rentals, but I don't remember it being outrageous.
I organized a couple of friends to rotate serving as dealers so that no one got stuck dealing all night. We handed out a ziplock bag full of chips to each guest as they entered and they were able to cash them in for various prizes at the end of the night. I'm not a gambler at all but I had a good time and think most of the guests did too. There are a few pictures on my FB of the party if you're interested as well.
I looked in to it for DHs 40th but things just didn't work out with timing for us. I found a company based out of southern Indiana. I can't remember the name but they have anything you would ever want or need to do with gambling. It was pretty pricy though, I think it was going to be around $1500 for 5 hours. That included dealers though. I will google and see if I can figure out which company it was I was talking with.

We did for our wedding in '08. I have no idea of current prices, but it was $1K for four tables and dealers back then (delivery included). They were great.

Good luck!
