My parents have a condo in OC, instead of going to the actual beach we typically just hang out at the pool. However, next weekend, SIL and BIL are coming out and we will actually be going to the beach. Our niece is 11 months and I figure we'll need something to put her and DD in to keep them out of the sun besides an umbrella. I'm willing to invest a little money since it will definitely get its use over the years.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I just went to BRU in columbia this morning and they had one thing that wouldn't cut it for two babies and didn't look like it provided much shade for one.
TIA!
Re: Beach tent/sleeper type thing
I just bought the Peapod Plus for D' 2 weeks ago. My plan is to use it instead of taking a PNP though. D' loves to play in it, he takes his friends in there with him.
I got the Plus version because it's bigger & will last longer as he grows than the original.

We got this for our Outer Banks trip in two weeks. I have yet to practice opening it but its pretty big and hopefully will work well for us.
We got this two years ago to take to the OBX and it works well. Its big enough for all of us to get under and we put a baby pool in there too. And I like that you can open and close the sides, so we don't have to move it as the sun moves during the day.

How clever! I would never have thought to do that.
