Success after IF

need boob management help

argh. I bought two pretty new bras when I went to the GTG, and I guess they were more "push-up" than I realized. My girls keep falling out of them! (toward the center of my chest - the cups don't hold them in enough or squeeze them together too tight or something). Is there any way to remedy this? Tighten certain straps? Loosen others? I'm pretty sure the bras are the right size b/c when I first put them on they look and fit great. But as I start moving around they start falling out. It is not an attractive look. help! I don't have time or money to do more shopping.

p.s. I was a 36C pre-babies, and now I seem to permanently be 38D, with lefty being bigger than righty.

  • I am going to highly suggest you go for a fitting. I went to Nordstroms a few months back. I had been wearing a 38C and was thinking I was looking pretty good. The lady measured me....34DDD. Indifferent No joke. I cracked up hysterical. Then...I put on a 34DDD bra. Holy ***! WORLD of difference. Forked over $75 and bought the bra. I havent been able to afford to buy another...so I have been washing that one every other day because now... all those bras I thought felt good feel AWFUL and do nothing for me.

If you've never been... I highly recommend it!

  • If you're falling out of the cups, the cups are not big enough.

You need a fitting. And ditto Nordstrom. Or a specialty store (NOT Victoria's Secret, they are dumb. A real specialty store.) They're the only ones who will know how to do it properly.

Do NOT add inches in the band. It doesn't work.

I wear a 34H or I now, it's ridiculous. (I alreayd had a good idea because I've got my bra fitting skills down, but it was a surprise to be in a 34 band!)

  • man, i'm jealous now . . . i'm not done BFing so it's hard to tell for sure, but i think pregnancy and BFing made my boobs shrink. enjoy your 38D--there are worse problems than having boobs too big for your bra, i bet DH doesn't mind (heehee). ;);)

  • I think you might be wearing the right size, but you need more coverage.  Not a demi cup.  I have the same issue....boob slippage:)

I highly recommend taking the size/style of the new bra and looking on eBay. I buy all of my bras there brand new at almost half price from Sellers in England.

Inle, the nordstrom By me doesn't fit properly anymore. They won't measure cup Size, just band. I would go straight to a specialty store. Good luck!
