Hey girls,
So with the new baby, moving houses, and still being on unpaid maternity leave I don't have the $250 I spend on getting my hair done. I usually have it highlighted and cut. Does anyone have any good cheap places that you have used before? At this point I'm not sure if I am better off giving a cheaper place a try or just getting it cut and letting the color look bad for another month or two. Thanks!

Thanks! Good to know that New Talents doesn't take as long. I have tried doing it myself before and it has not turned out very good when I do that. My hair tends to get an orange look even when I have it done professionally sometimes.
I used to go to expensive hair salons and was not even happy with the results. I tried this lil shop at Shallowford Rd. It's called Hair Dreams and they give the best hair cut ever.

I go to Salon 124 in Roswell, and when I lived over that way I also went to their location in Duluth. They also run Genesis Salon, where all the stylists start out and they get promoted to Salon 124 when they have enough hours and can pass all the requirements. It looks like all their locations are still over on the Gwinnett side but if you make it out that way, I've always been happy with the one in Suwanee when I've gone.

I go to see Bree at Salon Red in Candler Park. When I get my hair colored (one process color) and cut, it's only $90. They are very reasonable.
I drive all the way to Buckhead to go there too. After passing out tips, you still end up walking out of there $160 lighter for a cut and full highlights. I feel your pain. I'd love to hear some other suggestions too!

There is a deal for a cut + color + style for $57 at BlueMed Spa on Living Social today. Not familiar with them, but saw the deal and thought of this thread. From time to time you will see hair salons on the deal sites, so something to keep in mind.
