well ladies I am 22wks today and I still am not showing I have only gained about 5lbs and thats it. I really dont feel the baby alot either. The Doctor said my placenta is in the front so it is buffing the baby movements. I just hate that I am buying stuff in the stores and people always ask me who is pregnant or say you dont look pregnant. I know I am over weight with a large frame but when does my bump come in. Anyone else going through the same thing?

Definitely not alone.
With my first I only started getting a little bump at 21 weeks.
Here is a pic so you can see!
the baby finds places within you to hide. (for lack of a better explanation)
My friend has a very long torso and big hips and she said her baby seems to be settling in back there. I have a short body and no hips so my baby has jutted out.
and I agree that as long as your doctor is happy, be happy. I am terrified at being big now and then being even bigger later.
I am overweight and almost 26 weeks pregnant. I have really popped out this month!! Give it a month, and I think you will see a big difference. I have only gained 2.5 pounds since my BFP. I still wonder if some people realize I am pregnant, but more and more are starting to see it.
As for the movement, that, too, has progressed a lot this past month for me too. The kicks have become stronger and more frequent!
Right there with you! I am 23w0d and I just looked filled out. I am 5'(9" and started at 128 and am 140 now, but I was underweight, so that is to be expected. I am not wearing my normal clothes without the aid of a bella band but when I wake up in the morning and look at my stomach....almost a flat pancake. I am still very thin, but just not showing.
I sleep on my stomach (don't shame me!) with no issues, but he kicks me like the world is going to end. I started feeling his kicks weeks ago, and they are getting stronger so I know he is growing but he just must be moving up in my torso and not out.
My midwife just thinks that my thin, musclar build is keeping him....and she isn't worried. I am extremely active and workout everyday. I am sure it will catch up to me, but here is hoping to a baby bump and minimal skin stretching!
