My MIL just set up a Skype account so she could "see me grow".  What does she think I'm going to do - stand up in front of the webcam and lift my shirt so she can see my stomach?

DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!

    Haha! Aw, you can't blame her really, she's probably just excited. How about you just send her updates every once in a while and maybe a photo or two of you as you get bigger (with shirt firmly pulled down of course).

    LOl!  My MIL actually did the same thing during my first pregnancy.  I did actually stand up and show her my belly, without pulling my shirt up.  She was super excited and it was just a way to make her feel a part of it even though she lives so far away.  Now, we Skype at least and DD really knows her so well b/c of it.

    That would drive me nuts but then so does just about anything my MIL does. My IL's have been after us to get Skype forever and I refuse. If we get it they will want to talk all the time. I'd say just snap MIL a belly shot here and there and tell her that will have to do.

    This made me LOL.  Sounds like something my MIL would do too if she didn't live 15 minutes away.  Good luck with that one!!

    Oh wow!!

    I'm not a fan of Skype but DH Skypes with his mom & she loves it.  She bought us a HB monitor so she could hear it while we're Skyping.  Ummm... probably NOT going to happen, lady.
