slight cramping on right side

I've been having this slight cramping to one side. its not even consistent but just kinda like a pulsating for a few seconds and then goes away. Then it may come back a min to a few mins later. Should I worry about this? i'm going to the doctor anyway tomorrow.

Re: slight cramping on right side

  • im not 100% but it kinda sounds like ovarian pain, possibly a cyst. most doctors wont really do much about it untill it bursts. they;re very common during pregnancy im pretty sure i have at least 1 right now. they can get pretty bad. if its staying on one side and it seems kinda where your ovaries are i'd ask the doc to do an ultrasound to check of cysts thats what they did for me once before when i had them

  • This same thing was happening to me a few weeks ago. Go lay down of your left side. When you lay on your left side it provides more oxygen to your baby. While laying on your left side drink as much water as you can possibly stand. Right side cramping is usually caused by not drinking enough water. My cramping stopped within a half hour or so.

    Good luck!

  • I had the same thing from weeks 4 - 7, I think it was probably a corpus luteum (?) cyst. It went away eventually :) I'm pretty sure that as long as you aren't having severe or sharp pains that make you double over you are ok - but worth mentioning at your appointment for peace of mind!

  • I've had all kinds of weird cramps and twinges and aches, on various sides, dull to sharp... your uterus is expanding and moving everything around, so you're gonna feel all kinds of goofy things!
