The class and our hotel is located in Woodbury, but we aren't against traveling to places.
We are pretty open to food choices. Last year we tried to find unique places and made the goal of not eating at any chains. As far as the type of food we are open to anything, it's a pretty adventurous group.
PCOS and Hypothyroidism- Successful IUI's- May 2012 and October 2014. Miscarriage @ 6w3d in December 2009.
Crave is also really good, and has great sushi (but also other food as well). There are 3 of them, the downtown location being the newest
Barrio is also realllllly good, and has great atmosphere. There is one downtown Mpls, and another in Edina. The menus are different at both, and I reccomend the downtown location. If you go make reservations, and also make sure you try their house margarita...amazing and deadly:)

We live around the Grand Ave area in St Paul (not far off of I-94), and there are great options for lunch and dinner.
Brasa has AMAZING food, you get a choice of meats - chicken, pork or beef and then order sides. If you're going with a bigger group, it's perfect because it works best family style. https://www.brasa.us/ Not too pricey
128 Cafe - nicer place, white tableclothes, but can still wear jeans and a nice top. Eclectic american cuisine.
For any meal, we go for brunch all the time, but the Birchwood Cafe is phenomenal. All local, mostly organic food, they've got an eclectic menu, and good specials on weeknights - pitchers of beer and pizza, bottle of wine and 2 burgers, etc. They also have an AWESOME dessert section... This is not in St Paul, but just across the river in Mpls.
If you are new to the cities, Matt's Bar of the Nook for Juicy Lucy's is usually pretty fun.
There is a restaurant group called the "blue plate", they own about 5 restaurants in the area that are ALL good. Scusi is a new Italian restaurant that has a ton of wine on tap essentially, which is cool, because ALL of their wines are available by the glass or by the carafe (2 glasses) or half bottle or bottle. Their other restaurants are great as well, kind of diner-style fair with a twist. Check them out!

Re: Minneapolis/St.Paul ladies
where will you be, and what kind of dinner are you looking for?
Bar La Grassa is amazing, but I would call for reservations right now.

Ok. Bar La Grassa is probably the best resturant in MN right now. It is in downtown Mpls.
