By the time I get home in the evenings and spend time with O I don't want to exercise, so I've decided to take up running (again) and want to bring her with me so she gets outside some. DH is a SAHD, without a vehicle that she can travel in, and working on his masters so he rarely takes her out.(No matter how much I beg him to do things with her, but that's another issue). DD is also getting too big for the travel system stroller, so I want to have something that easily travels to take her places in.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Jogging Mamas-Rec your jogging stroller
I have this stroller and love it. It has lots of 5K miles on it.
There are reviews about the front wheel falling off, which there is a clear statement in the manual and on the wheel itself that states to check bolts for tightness every so often to avoid this problem (which is common for a lot of jogging strollers). I haven't had any issues with mine and do not have to tighten it more than once a season.
My only complaint is that it doesn't sit straight up, making the tray seem "far away" to my LO. Ours is black and green so I'm not sure if the newer model addresses that.
I have a B.O.B. Revolution and LOVE it. We originally had a Baby Trend but that only lasted a year, we decided it would be worth buying a B.O.B. that should last us for a good lone while as opposed to having to buy a less expensive jogger every season. That said, we hope to have a few more children so plan on using the B.O.B. for many years to come.
E.T.A.: Both my husband and I are marathon runners, so admittedly we may have given the Baby Trend a harder life than if we weren't running such long distances so often.
I just started running again after a 7 year hiatus

I got a Schwinn (Arrow) and I love it! So does Henry.
I love our BOB Sport Utility, but I use it primarily for running. In fact, we had it at the HP Blast yesterday and after the race, I transferred Mr. O to an umbrella stroller because it was easier to maneuver in a crowd.
I think the BOB is super easy to run with - very smooth for both the rider and the runner. It has nice storage and a good cover for Mr. O. We got the BOB on sale through L.L. Bean at Christmas time, but if we didn't find a good price, we were going to go with the Jeep Jogging Stroller. The one nice feature of the Jeep that I keep thinking about is the built-in iPod dock, but I don't think Mr. O is missing anything.
HTH.
