We're doing family photos in two weeks with DH, DS, and me. Anyone do any recently and care to give me some ideas on clothing. The shoot will be outside.
We did these last summer. It's coming up washed out, but, Glenn was in khaki shorts and a blue shirt. I was in denim capris and a white shirt with a light blue tank underndeath, and Alana's dress was like a pastel madras.
We're doing another shoot in July and I have no idea what we're going to wear for this one!
We did some a few weeks ago. I had the kids coordinating in red, and DH and I wore blue. I liked the way it looked - the bright colors were nice outdoors.

We just did some yesterday. I wore a bright pink shirt and jean capris, DH wore a light blue polo and jeans, and DD wore a pink and blue dress. We coordinated but weren't too matchy. Sorry no pics yet.
I like plain, bright colors for photos. LO can get away with patterns. I also think if you all were the same color tops you tend to blend together too much. IMO

Re: Outfits for pictures
These aren't recent...it was from Caroline's 12 month session, but you get the idea.

If I could go back I would have worn something that coordinated better with my husband and Brady.
