I'm moving back down to the area shortly with my new DS in tow. Can anyone recommend an excellent pediatrician? What about some fun free (or nearly free) ways to keep young children occupied?

Re: Anyone in Corvallis/Albany?
On rainy days, we like the public library's children's area and the OSU MU ballroom (lots of space to run, free, and rarely used) - the marble steps are fun too.
On nice days, go to the fountain at waterfront park.
When DS gets older, take him to the OSU women's basketball games. They are in the afternoons and have all the fanfare without the parking headaches and lines. DD loves them. They are pretty inexpensive, and you can often find free/discounted passes here and there.
We go to a pediatrician in Corvallis. Her name is Dr. Eunju Metzler with the Corvallis Clinic (located at Good Sam). She was recommended to me by another new mom. We're pretty happy with her. She seems competent and flexible (we're waiting on giving some vaccinations for another few months and she didn't lecture us about it).
