I need a new infant car seat

We were in an accident today (we are all fine) and got the OK to get new ones.  I have the Graco SnugRide and love it.  I am thinking about just getting that again, but what do you have and why do you like it?

DS is huge, close to 15 lbs, if that makes a difference.

    Yikes! Glad you are all ok. We have the Keyfit 35 and think it is just super.  Although, I have nothing to compare it too, but it looks good and the little bear fits into it. He's about 14lbs.

    we also have the chicco keyfit (22) and it's been fine so far.  but if you're happy with the snugride i would stick with it.

    We have a Primo Viaggio and I really like it.  It had some bad reviews on Amazon, but I haven't experienced any of the problems with it that other people had (Twisted straps, for example.  Ours don't get twisted at all.)  Reviews also said it was heavy compared to other infant seats.  I find its weight gives me peace of mind; regardless, we leave it in the car 95% of the time, so that hasn't bothered me.

    I have the Snugride 35 and like it. He is going to outgrow the height well before the weight, but I'm glad I got the bigger one bc I believe it gives a few more inches on height. I'd like to keep him in the infant seat as long as possible, even when I'm not dragging it in and out of the car.

    We have the Safety First On Board Air 35. I love it, it has the air padding which makes me feel like it will be safer if we were in an accident. I get a lot of compliments on it even the nurses at the hospital told me that it was a good car seat. The only problem is if you have a little car it wont fit very well. My husband drives an Audi A4 and it just fits in the back seat so no one can ride up front in the passenger seat. So we always take the van when we take LO out.

    The woman who inspected my carseat said that she isn't supposed to endorse a seat but the one I got (Chicco Keyfit 30) is her favorite.  I love it.

    We are using the Graco Snugride 32.  I would definitely get the Snugride 35, that way it'll last you up to 35 pounds!!  I used to be a Certified Car Seat Technician for Safe Kids and I love the Snugrides!!
