Re: POM juice

  • **Stolen from TTGP info page**

Pomegranate juice can help to thicken your lining which would help with implantation. If you don?t like the flavor, try adding some sparkling water.  Drink 8oz of juice a day from CD1-O.  You can drink it past ovulation, but it won?t impact your lining at that point.

  • I don't drink POM, but I know ladies who do drink it drink daily from CD 1- O.  It's supposed to promote thick lining in your uterus to aid in implantation.  I think that they amount is 1 cup/ day.  This is always discussed on TTGP, and I see many ladies there that don't like the taste, so they mix it with sprite.  I believe there are also POM supplement pills too.

  • I have heard this too. I was thinking about drinking it this cycle. I love pomegranate anything so I might give it a whirl. AF is horrible to me lately anyways!

I take the supplements and can vouch for the heavier AF. I took a break from taking them in April since we were TTA and AF was light and short. I'd been taking it a few months in a row before that and AF was ridiculously heavy for me.

I also took it this last cycle and AF just started today so I'm expecting her to be a b*tch this go round too!

  • Mine didn't seem to be heavier but it did last 2 days longer this month than the past 2 months.  IDK if POM had anything to do with it, but it has been my only change up.

I was drank POM for a cycle or two and I found that my period was definitely heavier than normal for those cycles.

Yes, from personal experience it will make your period look like a horror movie.

Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled.  However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15!  Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!

Surprise!  Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due.  Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

  • I couldnt make it through the POM juice; it made me gag. Three stores later I finally found supplements at walmart. Going to use it next cycle.

  • Pom is packed with sugar. There are 34 grams of sugar in every 8 ounce serving. That's more sugar than in 8 ounces of Coke. In my opinion (and my doctor agrees), the benefits are outweighed by that. Unless implantation is a specific problem you might have, I don't think for the average person it's good to be sucking down that much sugar every day for two weeks or more. A little bit probably won't hurt or help, but drinking that much every day doesn't seem like a great idea.

  • Thanks for that.  Maybe I will switch to the pill form.
