I am going to preface this -

I am not a tree hugging environmentalist. Not at all. I am, however, a reasonable person who thinks we should do what we can to not destroy the environment as much as possible, but I don't do any judging unless you throw garbage out your car window (and if you do this, shame on you).

That being said, tonight is garbage night, and my DH pointed out that since Tuesday we have not even created an entire bag of garbage! Considering we have a newborn, I am just really proud. Now don't get me wrong, my electric bill was something outrageous this month, but using cloth diapers and not eating take out (freezer meals woohoo!) is reaping benefits of less waste (and cost savings, love the cost savings).

Okay, Im done tooting my own horn now.
